UCLC is both the source and the gateway to critical specialist knowledge and first-class research facilities across UCL, with direct links to academic staff based in UCL's 100+ departments. UCLC aims to provide an efficient and responsive service to clients contracting UCL experts, helping to solve their technical and specialist problems.

To date UCLC has contracted over 1000 consultancy projects worth over £25 million, with national and international clients ranging from multinational companies to small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs), to charities, local, regional and central Government departments.
